What’s included in “Natural Flavors”?Updated 5 days ago
We understand that “natural flavors” can sound a little mysterious, so here’s what it means for us. Bottom Line (TL;DR): All our flavors are certified natural and held to the highest purity standards.
Full Explanation
According to the FDA, natural flavors can come from:
- Spices
- Fruit or fruit juice
- Vegetables or vegetable juice
- Edible yeast
- Herbs, bark, buds, roots, leaves, or other plant materials
- Dairy products (including fermented)
- Meat, poultry, seafood, or eggs
Our standards go further — much further. Every ingredient we use, including natural flavors, must be:
- Non-GMO
- 100% vegan (no animal products — ever)
- Sugar-free
- Caffeine-free
- Nut-free & dairy-free
- Gluten-free
- Free from: artificial sweeteners, stevia, artificial flavors, herbicides, preservatives, fillers, or anything synthetic
While we don’t share our full recipe (we've got to keep a little magic in the mix!), if you’re wondering about a specific ingredient, please ask [email protected] — we’ll gladly check for you.
