What’s included in “Natural Flavors”?Updated 3 hours ago
We understand that “natural flavors” can sound a little mysterious, so here’s what it means for us — and what it doesn’t mean.
While we don’t share our full recipe (gotta keep a little magic in the mix!), we’re happy to confirm whether a specific ingredient you’re curious about is included.
According to the FDA, natural flavors can come from:
Spices
Fruit or fruit juice
Vegetables or vegetable juice
Edible yeast
Herbs, bark, buds, roots, leaves, or other plant materials
Dairy products (including fermented)
Meat, poultry, seafood, or eggs
Our standards go further — much further. Every ingredient we use, including natural flavors, must be:
Non-GMO
100% vegan (no animal products — ever)
Sugar-free
Caffeine-free
Nut-free & dairy-free
Gluten-free
Free from: artificial sweeteners, stevia, artificial flavors, herbicides, preservatives, fillers, or anything synthetic
Bottom line: all our flavors are plant-derived and held to the highest purity standards.
